G Suite – “Not Allowed to Send” per SPF Record

Question:

Emails blocked …  can you whitelist blahblah.com domain?

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

someone@somedomain.com

Technical details of permanent failure: 

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain somedomain.com by smtp.secureserver.net. [68.299.214.201].

The error that the other server returned was:

550 5.1.0 814.82.776.182 is not allowed to send from <somedomain.com> per it’s SPF Record. Please inspect your SPF settings, and try again. IB508  <http://x.co/srbounce>

Answer:

Hi Dear Client,

Are you guys using Google Apps (evidently now known as “G Suite”, who knew?) to send email associated with the blahblah.com domain? If so, the problem might be in the details of how you have configured your “domain SPF” records. This would probably need to be adjusted in the DNS records of your domain registrar account.
